I went to grab a sandwich at lunch today and the check out lady asked me if I was due soon! I am due in July...sigh. This is gonna be a fun 45 more months!

I get that feeling all the time-when people ask me when I'm due and I tell them June, they look at me a little funny until I tell them that its twins!

Yup, that's going to happen.  LOL, it's shocking the first time!

That happened to me last week at the Farmer's Market. I was a day short of 13 weeks and the lady asked me when I was due. When I told her August, she kind of had that wow look. I HAD to tell her it was twins. I couldn't let her just be dumbfounded. LOL. But I was taken completely off guard by the comment this early.

I'm 32 weeks and someone asked me if it was hard to walk and that it looked like I was going to tip over.....gee thanks.

yea, sorry. people asked me that for the last 4 months of my pregnancy too. just wait till you go around town with two of them, the rude comments rain down. lol. 

just blow it off, it's amazing how strangers say the rudest things sometimes.

Me too. There is a mom in DS's gym class that is 28 weeks along. I am way bigger than her. I get those jaw dropped wide eyed looks all the time.

When I was 16 weeks I remember someone commenting that I had "dropped" and looked like the baby would be here any day. Some people are just dumb. I hope that it IS a fun 4-5 more months!

My shower is tomorrow so of course I was running all over town trying to help my hostess tie up loose ends. I had 1 lady at the dressing room in Target tell me "Any day now, huh? You've dropped!" I had another woman stop me in the Publix parking lot and say "You're about to pop! Having a valentine baby??" and the lady at the salon said to me "You're almost done being pregnant right??".

The tune changes from excitement to sympathy *every time* when I say "Nope. 2.5 months left. It's twins!"

At least I'm happy it's twins

I'm already tired of the "it was hard with one, it'll be hell with two/I can't imagine having two one was bad enough" and people have only known for about two weeks

All of my friends have young children and they still remember when Claire was born, so they keep asking if I have "more babies in my tummy" like I just spit them out like a gumball machine...

I don't know if this was lucky or not but when I got pregnant I was almost 80 lbs heavier than I am now so I didn't get many of the pregnant comments since it barely looked like I was pregnant. Now that they are nearly 7 months, I get... Are they twins? I want to say...no, one is 3 months older. Boy and a girl? Uh...yes. When one is in camo and boy shoes and the other is in white with little hearts and little girl shoes...what do you think? Are they identical?...um...nope. We just went over that they are a boy and a girl. Are they both yours? Nope. One twin is mine but I stole the other twin from someone. Weird how they are still twins though. They can't be twins, they don't look alike. Well...again, one's a boy and one's a girl so I hope they don't look identical. (My son is olive skinned, dark hair and eyes. My daughter is pale, blonde hair and blue eyes) Did you just get them out of the hospital? I got this question after telling someone they were 4 months old. Apparently, all multiples stay in the NICU for months on end. I wasn't aware of that. lol Are they on monitors? I also got this one at 4 months. I was wondering if they looked sickly but I don't think they did. And of course besides the questions there are the comments about having my hands full, being hard with one...how do I do it with two, double trouble...etc. You learn to deal with it and move on.
