munchkin diaper pail issue

Hi Everyone!

Does anyone have this and have difficulty closing the lid? Since it sort of "rotates" the bags closed it would make sense to have a hard time when it is almost full but now mine won't close when there are only a few diapers in there! I really liked it until this happened I hope someone else knows what I am doing wrong!

I've only had that issue when it is super full and needs a new bag. I have had it for 14 months with no problems. Maybe you need to switch yours for a different one?

I have had this issue in past. Usually because some baking soda got into turn mechanism. On the website there are cleaning instructions. If it doesn't work call them the diaper pail has a 1 yr warranty

Thanks guys! It always gets such good reviews so I figured it was "user error"

I am pretty sure it is baking soda in the gears...if cleaning it doesn't work I might try returning it.

I loved mine until DS broke the top snap.  Now I've lost all odor control. The only other thing as the diapers get bigger-the fewer diapers fit in it.

Huh, hadn't had this problem.  We did get another one around 18 mo b/c the stink regulator capabilities had decreased significantly!
