I just had my car seat installed today.  Both the police officer and I couldn't pull the canopy up, i didn't think much of this at the time.  But now i'm wondering if there is a problem with the seat.  It is currently all the way back, basically behind the seat and it will not budge when I try to pull it up over the seat itself.  I tried to move it with the handlebar in both positions.  Is this a problem with the carseat? Or am i missing something? The seat is currently locked into the base, could that be the problem?

Could be...that has happened with mine. Just unhitched it from the base and try again.

We just took our out of the box last night. It was the same way, there is a plastic slide that we pulled out from one side of the canopy. Pull it out and move the canopy over and slide it back in.

It is a very tight fit. We don't use ours very often, so we just removed it. It disconnects easily. When you are using it, it is mush easier to get up when the handle is up, like if you were about to carry LO. We usually only put the canopy up far enough to get it out of the way, never all the way back, like it usually comes out of the box.
