We've got weekend plans, so I'm done with lunch-making for the week! Nothing too complicated and these are all pretty small, as DD's appetite is slow to come back after her flu last week.
Race car. I didn't even bother to make a little checkered flag for this, but wouldn't it have been cute?! Blueberries, cookie cutter sandwich, clementines, a Thin Mint "spare tire" and string cheese chunks on a pick.
Valentine's Day! Two little heart PB/honey sandwiches surrounded by blueberries. On the bottom tier are celery sticks, strawberries and a little container of mini Goldfish.
I'd better get my fill of Sesame Street lunches before DD gets too old! All of these supplies are from my grocery store. Elmo sandwich container, cookie cutter and Cookie Monster snack container. PBJ sandwich with cheese and fruit leather details, berries, cucumbers, a few mini "Dorothy" Goldfish and a few Sesame St. crackers. And how much of this intricately detailed sandwich did she eat? Only the nose.
Bunny love! Four mini homemade sealed PB/honey sandwiches - I absolutely love these! Then there's some heart strawberries, blueberries, cucumber on a pick, a silicone "suitcase" with a few olives and a bunny container with baby Goldfish.
Ocean sunset! I love this one, and it's so simple! This box is from Old Navy, too. Blueberries with some ocean animal picks for the "water." The sun is half a veggie burger topped with marble cheese, surrounded by a clementine, strawberry and mini Lego container of trail mix. My favorite this week!
PIP your cute lunches here! Valentine's Day is such an easy theme. I found big silicone heart cups at Marshall's last week for $6 ... they were $10 at Michael's right next door. And my grocery store has mini heart silicones plus lots of disposable V-Day picks.
Re: Cute lunch check-in
Love the lunches! I bought some containers from old navy yesterday. Where do you buy the sandwich sealer??

LOL, yes I am a SAHM (but I do have a mischievous toddler destroying my house if I turn my back for one second!). I am pretty fast at it now, so these lunches TRULY don't take much extra time. I make them while DD is eating her after-school snack. I get inspiration from blogs, holidays and whatever DD is into or is doing at school. And nope, I don't blog. What you see here is all I have!
You should try doing one tiny little cute thing to your DC's lunch! You might be surprised at how much they appreciate one piece of cheese cut with a cookie cutter and placed on top of a sandwich.
Have a great day!
