We still do bath as part of our nightly routine. The kids love it and it's a great time killer between dinner and bedtime. I don't see us changing it up any time soon. We're all pretty routine and it's working great for us.
we've always done baths in the morning. She has curly hair so if she sleeps on it even remotely wet, man, it's crazy! We do baths every other day. Like the previous poster, DD has dry skin so I don't want to make it worse.
We do bath time just about every night. I might skip one or two nights per week depending on what else is going on. She still enjoys bath time and got somew new bath toys for Christmas.
Yes, we do a bath every night. Both kids tend to get dirty at child care, and the bath really helps to calm DS down (he was very fussy as a newborn).
Both of my kids love the bath, thank goodness.
Yep we do baths every single night and probably will forever. Our kids get dirty, plus I like it as part of the bedtime routine and my girls love the water.
Yes we do it every night. After a day at daycare I like him to be clean before getting in his bed. He fights getting in most nights mostly because he knows it's the start of bedtime routine, but once he's in he loves it and doesn't want to get out.
We do it every night. It signals the start of the bedtime rituals. Also, she goes to daycare and I just feel like I need to get her clean afterwards LOL. She's 2 and sometimes she doesn't want to get in, but we don't give her a choice, and then she never wants to come out lol. I have noticed that recently she doesn't like to get in the bath if 1) the faucet is on, or 2) there's anything else in the bath (toys, etc). So we make sure the tub is filled and the bath is clear of all objects before we put her in. Kids are so weird lol.
We do a bath every other night, sometimes every 3 nights. She loves taking a bath. DH usually takes DD up right after we finish dinner so that she can take a bath, get in her pj's and then we play again after for a bit. This way her hair has a chance to dry a bit before bed.
There are times that she doesn't want to take a bath, but then has a blast and doesn't want to get out and DH is getting her out when she's shivering.
we do a bath every night, but sometimes she's just too tired or doesn't feel like it - if that's the case then I just wipe her down with a little hand towel - no point forcing it and her being all upset IMO
Thanks for the responses. My LO loves bath time as part of her routine 6 out of 7 nights a week. I get those random nights where she fights me on it but as soon as she gets in she plays forever.
It doesn't HAVE to happen everynight, but certainly most nights, especially in summer or days when she's run around outside a lot.
She definitely went off the bath, and part of it was being anxious about going down the plug hole.
Some different things we did was to give her a choice like, "You can have a shower or a bath" or, "you can have a bath by yourself or with Mum."
Some days when it was causing a major meltdown but she was filthy, then I just grabbed a wet cloth and sponged her down. We went through about 3 or 4 weeks where I basically just washed her with a cloth and only insisted she bathe properly when I needed to wash her hair every few days.
Sometimes she's not interested, but for the most part, she'll submit to a bath. She isn't really into playing in the tub for very long, so baths are pretty much an "in and out" as soon as she's clean. I bathe her every other day unless she gets particularly dirty.
We still do a bath nightly if we are home and in our normal routine. In the winter she doesn't get her hair washed nightly because of dry scalp, but she loves playing in the tub and it gives me a chance to fold a basket of laundry or get some night time preparations done (feeding the cats, laying out clothes for the next day etc.), while she is enjoying some tub time. If we are out late or running late around the house it gets skipped though.
We do it every other night just because of her skin. However, she loves it and rarely has problems getting in the tub. Actually when she is downstairs and as soon as I say bath time she grabs my hand to go upstairs. I try not to keep her in long, but she would stay their awhile if I let her.

She got over it and now we don't have any issues.
