Well 'The Nursing Company' is distributed by 'Mothers Lounge' which is the BBB accredited company. They are a baby product wholesaler and my sister used them a couple times for her first.  She didnt have any issues. 

And at the end of the day you pay with your credit card and simply file fraudulent charges if you dont receive your pillow. 

But I am pretty sure it is all legit.

There have been several posters on the WTE forums that have used the promo for a free sling from Seven Slings and have had no issues.

Ladies, this company ALWAYS gives their stuff away for "free". I got sucked into this scam when i was PG with DD, ordered a sling and a nursing cover for "free" (with really high shipping) They were both absolute crap. Those were the only things they sold when I was PG with DD, but it wasn't worth the shipping to get them. I can't imagine any other products the offer being any better. 

Sorry to be a party pooper, but they're just not great products. I'd rather pay for something that's good.

I just ordered mine in Hush.  Just saw PP about the quality not being great - I figured that might be the case, but it can't hurt to have one around "just in case"...or to keep at the in-laws, my parents. etc.  For $12, does the trick for me!  :-)

I've ordered a sling from them in the past and it wasn't the greatest quality, but it's fine for the price. I figure the same with this and I can always buy a case to cover it (or make one) if the fabric isn't great.

This. It's not worth it. Save your money for a decent-quality product.

And... it's not really "free" because they are profiting from the ridiculously high shipping costs.

I would be more concerned with the quality of the pillow. It doesn't look very supportive to me in the photos- like it's too thin or not stuffed enough.

If you are wondering if this deal is too good to be true, it is!  I got my pillow the other day and conveniently they have a no return policy, probably because this thing is not even worth the $12 "shipping charge" they offer all the time and pretend it is a special deal!  

 

Other than appearing to be a slightly smaller shape of the far superior Boppy Pillow, I am not sure what qualifies this trash to be considered a "nursing pillow."  The Nursing Pillow (a name almost impossible to find reviews for on the internet because the name brings up all nursing pillows, how convenient) is cheaply made, the material is NOT soft, (I got the "Hush" cover) the side pieces are entirely too short so this thing will slip like crazy if you attempt to nurse with it, and the height is too short so you'd have to stack two or three pillows underneath to attempt to use this as a nursing pillow.  Save yourself the "shipping charges" and buy a Boppy or My Breast Friend because they are actual reputable companies willing to exchange or return if you are unhappy with the product!  

 

My guess is this woman thought she could try a get-rich-quick scheme because she tried to copy Boppy's design with little to no effort.  Please do not waste your money on this thing like I did.  If you want more reviews look up "The Nursing Pillow by Mother's Lounge" and you will find other disappointed customers.
