has anyone done day out with Thomas?

DS loves trains. He loves Thomas. I'm thinking of taking him to the Day out with Thomas when it comes to our area. It is an hour away from our house. We will have a 6ish week old baby at that point. Is it worth it? Did your kiddos love it?

I figure DS#2 should be pretty portable at that point, maybe wear him to keep people from trying to touch, and DH will be coming as well to keep the toddler in check.

    We went twice and my girls loved it both times.  Actually they went 3 times, the ILS took them once without us.

    We went a few times. It was pretty lame as an adult, but the kids liked it so I guess that is what counts.

    we did Strasburg. It's about a 3 hour trip so we made a weekend of it. DD absolutely loved it. She was so excited and for days afterwards told anyone that would listen "i ride thomas!". she had just turned two. it was totally worth it.
