Baths after csection

I'm wanting very badly to take a bath! I'm 15 days pp and my incision is healing quite nicely. Doctor didn't give me specific directions. What do you guys think?

This has probably been posted before but I'm on my phone and can't check, I apologize if its a repost!

My notes said no baths, I wouldn't risk it.

I was told no baths for 6 weeks.

My MW was ok with me taking baths after my 2 week check up (I ended up not taking one for several more weeks). My incision was healed great by then though.

I'd call and check with your doctor. Everyone heals differently!

I've had two sections so far and was cleared to take baths and not worry about steri strips or anything after two weeks each time.

I wouldn't risk a bath until going back to your Dr. for your first incision check up. If you are that desperate you can always call the office, I'm sure one of the nurses there would be able to answer your question. When in doubt - always ask the doctor!
