Dd has been sick with a bad cold since yesterday morning. I took her to the pedi this morning and they said it just has to run its course. I told the pedi that dd has also been vomiting and getting less than half the amt of formula that she usually drinks. She said to watch her and if she vomits a lot she could get dehydrated. Here's my dilemma, dd has thrown up the last two bottles 2oz each of formula and about 2 oz of pedialite. I have changed only two wet diapers this afternoon, about 6 total today. She has also been screaming on and off for the last hour. When should I take her to the ER for dehydration. I'm working on about 2 hours of sleep since yesterday morning so sorry if this doesn't make sense.

Re: WWYD
I would call the hospital/clinic. When our clinic is closed there is a hospital doctor on call to talk to patients. I would try to get a hold of them and tell them your situation. Sometimes they have to call back a few minutes later.
We've called a few times- fevers, non-stop screaming, ect. Good Luck!
Call the oncall doc tho. You're supposed to give pedialite very slowly. They'll tell you how much and how often. For my sons age it was like a tsp every 5 min! It was horrible. And they had me withhold formula for a full day. But that was for the full blown stomach flu, no cold symptoms. He had diahrrea along with it.
Good luck
