Finally outed myself to a friend

I was talking to a friend on the phone tonight about something else, she is pregnant with her second as well and our first babies were born months apart also, and I  ended up telling her that I was pregnant (most of my friends don't know yet since I am still so early on) and then the WHOLE backstory of trying, seeing a RE, diagnosis, cancelled IUI, etc etc etc everything that led to my finally getting pregnant after 18 months.  We had not told anyone irl about our IF struggles, so it felt soo good to finally tell someone who semi-understands, as she had trouble getting pregnant with #1 and 2 also (although not quite as much trouble).  It was so nice to be able to talk with a friend about it!  Also I am happy that there is one more person sending prayers and good vibes out for this lo. Anyway just wanted to share this little personal triumph, lol.

I'm glad you have someone to confide in! It's hard when you're finally pregnant but cautiously not telling anyone!

That is great!!!  I think it's healthy to tell a few select friends   

I have way too many friends that know we are trying and I think I am the talk of the group, one of them outed me at a baby show dinner on Tuesday night.  She pointed out I didn't order a drink.....I could have smacked her. I mean it should have been my choice to make a group announcement.
