I've been holding back (pg mentioned)

I was waiting for next Monday before I told you all as things were going well but they started heading down hill and I need your thoughts.

On Jan 23rd we got a surprise BFP my HCG was 13 so we were not optimistic then it jumped to 61 and then 298, 535 (i had some brown spotting), 975(a giant hematoma appeared on my stomach)

Then the weekend came and I had IVIG and Monday my HCG was 2560, I had an u/s we saw a small gestational sac but no yolk sack however when the report came in from the radiologist they said they could see it.

Then yesterday I woke up my breasts were no longer sore but I didn't think much of it because I haven't really been feeling much which is strange for me because usually when I am pg I have a lot of symptoms. I went to the gym and my heart started to race really fast so I took my blood pressure it was super low. So I left and I was so tired I could barely walk but I had to pick up my grandmother.

I got her and we had lunch and I felt a little better. Then I went home showered and got in bed. I felt awful and my heart was racing. Then my mother came in at 4pm and started shrieking at me for calling a tile person to come fix my parents bathroom which my dad told me to do. She wouldn't stop finally my sister who had just walked in shut her up and I went to sleep. At 6pm she came back in aggravating me again and at 7:50 I went to the bathroom and wiped and there was bright red blood. I went and layed back down and called the on call OB and she said unless it was a full pad an hour it was fine and I said are you sure b/c I am on blood thinners, she said yes. So for the rest of the night I spotted brown or pink until 3pm today. My hcg was drawn and it was 4722. So it didn't double. 

Do you think I should insist on another u/s or wait till Monday? I have an appt with the endocrinologist Friday so I will get my blood taken again. I am also going to call the Beer center to see if they know what is causing this. I also have felt on and off like something is sticking out of my vagina.

I would wait til Monday.... The less wands up there the better.  Also beta does slow down as it gets high like that so it won't necessarily double in 24 hours.  I had bright red water flowing out ou me last week followed by red and brown and things were fine when they checked.  FX everything is fine.  Did you post this on PAIF??  You may get more feedback.

I have no advice for you... but wanted to say good luck...  Also, as pp said, as betas get high they definitely slow down.  Sending you Hugs & well wishes

Where's the hematoma?

I had a sizeable hematoma (about 2 1/2 inches) in my uterus and I bled A LOT for about 2 1/2 months (three weeks heavy bleeding, the rest what I'd call heavy spotting).  It's not super common, but it's more common than I realized.  

Whatever you do, stay away from google.  Nothing good comes from googling what if scenarios.

Also, I would push for the ultrasound to be moved up.  Hopefully it's just the hematoma flaring up.  If that's what it is, it will still worry you, but at least your mind won't be going in quite as many directions over the next four days.

One other thing, the amount I bled had a lot to do with how hydrated I was.  When you get dehydrated your muscles start to contract and that can cause "open wounds" to bleed more.

I think if I were in your shoes, I would ask for another ultrasound.

I'm so sorry that things aren't going smoothly but I hope that this is just a bleeding scare and it passes quickly and everything turns out alright.

I just want to reach into the computer and give you a big hug. 

Also, congratulations, but I know that doesn't mean much when you're not feeling confident in the situation. Hugs again.

I don't have any advice, but I really hope that everything takes a turn for the positive. This has to be such a rollercoaster ride for you. *HUG*

The hematoma is on my stomach outside it is 8 inches long and 4 inches wide with a small 2 inch lump 

I am taking 80mg of lovenox a day so no surprise but the size worried one of the doctors. I am staying very well hydrated.

Oh sweetie, I am sorry you are going through this. i wouldn't put too much in to Betas not doubling since as PP said, they do slow down. As for the bleeding, many women bleed and go on to have healthy babies. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

((hugs))  Bleeding is so scary!  I wouldn't worry about your doubling times (remember doubling time slows after you get over 1000), and if the bleeding slowed, it sounds like it might be fine.  As to your other comment, your cervix maybe irritated and a little swollen ... that may be contrinbuting to the bleed and feeling like something is coming out your vagina (I had this with this pg and one other previous one).

ETA: I bled to some degree after every internal u/s with all my pg.... if your cervix is irritated it will only make it worse and will stress you out more.  I would hold off if you can handle it
