Since I lost Ellie I've been looking for some sort of chest or box to put her things in. We have a nice shelf to display it on. I want something large enough to hold the cards we got, the outfit we got for her to wear home from the hospital, her blanket and hat, and other memory keepsakes. I'd like to get something nice (not veneer or particle board), and large enough to hold her things, but still small enough to display. I've seen some memory boxes on Etsy, but they all seem to top out at about 4" high.
This one looks nice (I'd replace the impression material with a copy of her footprint), but I can't tell what it's made of and I'm guessing veneer or particle board:https://www.funeral-urn.com/child-keepsake-urn-babyprints-memory-box-shown-in-pink.aspx
The nicest ones I've found are these, but they're just not calling to me. https://www.etsy.com/shop/ArtisticBoxes/search?search_query=inlaid&order=date_desc&view_type=list&ref=shop_search
Ideally, I'd like something in the cubic foot range, possibly with a photo display in a nice heirloom condition material. I'm not afraid to be spendy on this, it's one of the only things I can buy for her. Do you ladies have any ideas or sources? How do you keep your baby's memories?

I agree with pp that you should try Michaels. Failing that, if your SO is handy, maybe he could custom make something.
Good Luck! I hope you can find something you will be happy with.
I was looking at this one... https://www.memorychests.com/infantmemorialchest.htm
but instead bought this one... https://www.aplacetoremember.com/pdshop/shop/item.aspx?itemid=387
I was also looking for a bigger one since I have three babies amount of stuff, and the second one is perfect, but not wooden. Good luck!
This is what I got from Things Remembered:

It has a glass top to display some things and a pretty big opening that is lined with fabric.
