My poor Grandma (tear).....

So I am currently at work and just recieved an email from my mom informing us that my Grandma had to make a decision this morning and she had to put down her oldest of her 2 dogs.

I just started crying!!! My family is very close, so we love eachother;s pets like our own.  My heart just goes out to my grandparents...those dogs are their pride and joy - being retired and all- and I feel so bad for their second dog Lucy, who just lost her best friend.

Sorry about the depressing post, but I needed to "talk" it out, as I find animals deaths just as hard. They truly are family members.

We will miss her very much - R.I.P Zoe!

Sad. We feel the loss for ourselves and for the other pets too. I appreciated condolence cards I received when my dog died back in 2007 suddenly of a heart attack. Maybe send one and some flowers to your grandparents.

I'm so sorry for your loss.  I totally agree- pets really do become part of the family.
