Camcorder?

Anyone have a camcorder they can recommend?  Our camera has a video option on it, but I want something that will record longer.  Looking to spend under $300 if possible, HD preferred! Thank you :-)

Oh and I should add it has to be compatible with Mac, if you're not sure that's okay, I will look into it!

My hubby bought the Canon Vixia HF R300 for 250. He did a lot of research and felt it was the best one for under 300. We tested it on our furkids and are pleased with the video quality. We did buy an extra battery for 20. Just in case. I'm not sure if it's compatible with a Mac though.
