I'm sending my congrats again, but I have a question as well. My ivf picture looks a lot like yours, and I'm just curious what made you decide to go back to doing iuis instead of doing another ivf? Was it recommended by Schoolcraft? Also, what do you think was the reason for your increased AMH? Did you start supplements or anything? Tia:-)

J&D2007- honestly money. My husband is in law school and after we did the 2 Ivf's ( i was a very poor responder to low dosage of meds), we went to the WTF and our RE basically looked at us like we were hopeless and I was 30. So we broke up with him. A new clinic opened in town but they didnt do IVF's yet. So I basically started form scratch with them. They re tested both of us and my DH's sperm count was much better, still low but better. So we did an IUI, I overlated early and had only 1 follicle, obviously BFN, then I had her test my AMH, this is when it came back as a .73.

My RE was always very positive that we could get pregnant, it was just going to be harder than most (she herself has DOR, and 2 children, so that was so helpful). I did another IUI and told her to go hardcore with the drugs, since we know now that I am not going to over stimulate. I had about 4-5 follicle but DH sperm was 11 million post wash, not terrible but still low and a BFN. 

We then decided to consult CCRM to see what they had to say. He was great but said we needed to do IVF again, which we wanted to do but just didnt have the money. We decided we would do IVF again this winter. Until then we got a desire to try one more IUI, and here we are. A few things that I think were different this time. My DH has lost 20 lbs and has been running, his sperm count post wash was 30 million, that is huge for him. I too have been more active, no weight loss (the joys of being a women). I also have a new job that is SO much less stressful than the other one and I have been eating better, now not all the time just paying more attention

 The other thing that I also think is with my last 4 procedures my left ovary NEVER responded and this time it did, maybe it was the lucky side and was alseep the past 3 years, who knows. We also BD'd that night after the IUI and I took the IUI day off an rested all day. Again I had never done this before. 

NOw in regard to the AMH, my RE said that I still am dealing with an egg issue due to how poorly I respond to meds. And that is younger women with AMH issues she has seen fluctuating numbers  and that it was good to see mine fluctuating up rather than down. If you have only had 1 AMH test, maybe go and have a second and see where you are. Also my AFC is always 10 on day 3, never changed in 3 years too. I am not sure what happened but thinking all these little things played a factor. my DH is graduating in MAY and the end is in sight too. Now I just hope it all sticks.
