Just wondering if anyone has ever had a BFN HPT but then a positive blood test? I honest to god feel pg, symptoms just like when I was pg before but I keep getting BFN! Tomorrow is my blood test, ive never had a blood test done before so Im not sure if they are more accurate or what. Any info would be great

Re: - HPT + Blood test
I've googled this a lot.
While it is possible, it isn't likely. Implantation usually occurs 7 - 10 dpo, but late implantation can occur.
I have read different things, but I think at 14 dpo there is about a 5-10% chance of getting a false negative.
Oh, if this were only true for both of us.
I stopped taking my progesterone last night and now I feel fewer pg symptoms and more AF.
Good luck to you!

I kind of did. The one time I actually carried to term, I had a very faint positive at home but when I did a urine test at my dr's office, it was "borderline." I went back two days later to retest, again a urine test, and it was borderline again. I just knew I was MCing again, so the nurse had me do a blood test. It was over 500! I went back two days later and it was 1700+! I couldn't believe it. I gave a "borderline" urine test and a few minutes later, a blood test showing 500+. It didn't make sense to me, but I was happy! I guess it sometimes takes a while for the hcg to make it into your urine? I went on to have my one and only baby.
I hope the same thing happens for you!

This happened to me, it was very early in my pregnancy (both times) and the HPT was negative but the Blood test was positive. it happened just this past time ebfore my IUI. Home test neg, blood test apparently showed a level of "5."
