FYI: At our class last night, they spoke about early labor signs and one of them was that most women lose a few pounds a week or two prior to the onset of labor. So ladies, check those scales at the doctor's office
Thought it was intersting...
Anyone on their 2nd+ child that can confirm this???
Re: Learned something interesting at Labor 101...
I lost weight, but I'd been losing weight for the last 10 weeks of my pregnancy due to the GD diet.
DD #1 passed away in January 2011 at 14 days old due to congenital heart disease
DD#2 lost in January 2012 at 23 weeks due to anhydramnios caused by a placental abruption
My gain has been right on target the whole time, until my last two appts, so it would be nice to loose a few before the end...
I'm with PP, though. It probably has something to do with being able to eat less, and your body cleaning itself out in preparation.
