Question about stopping progesterone

I got my fully expected BFN today at 14dpiui#1. I stopped my progesterone today then, but I was curious when I might expect AF to show up? I've never had issues with her starting, so I didn't know if it would be like today or 5 days from now.

Obviously, I know everyone is different. Just curious about your experiences with it.

DX: Low AMH 1.79 Mildly elevated FSH 9.9

1 month of Letrozole, 3 IUI's with Letrozole, All BFN. 1 canceled IVF cycle, BFN.


May 2013 IVF w/ICSI #1.5: Start BCP 5/8 2 pills a day. Suppression Ultrasound 5/29. Begin Dexamethasone & Lupron Microdose 5/31. Started Gonal F and Menopur 6/2.


ER 6/12 13R,9M,8F.


5DT CANCELLED due to moderate OHSS


5DT UNcancelled due to embryos not being capable of cryopreservation


Transfered 2 "poor quality" embryo's on 6/17

No frozen embryos.


Beta #1 6/25 6. Chemical Pregnancy confirmed. Beta #2 6/28 -1

    It always came within two days for me.  Sorry to hear about your BFN.
    Dx PCOS Three cycle of Clomid- BFN HSG- clear 6/09-Follistim and HCG IUI on 7/7/09 BFN 7/09- Follistim and Ovidrel IUI on 8/11/09 BFP! beta #1-342 beta #2-717 Joey was born on 5/5/10 Trying for #2 since 6/12 6/12- Gonal F and Ovidel IUI on 7/10. BFN 8/12- Gonal F and Ovidrel. IUI on 8/10. BFN 9/12- Gonal F and Ovidrel IUI BFN 10/22 Gonal F, Menopur, Ganirelex 11/4 trigger 11/6 ER 14R 10F 11/11 ET transferred one 4AA embryo beta 11/20! BFP Betas stop multiplying . m/c at 5 weeks moving on to FET if my numbers ever get back to 0!

    Sorry about your BFN. Hugs!

    I got a BFN yesterday and decided to stop taking my progesterone. I fully expect AF to be here by the weekend. We'll see. I kinda hope she takes a while because that would work for my travel dates in March.

    Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase
    18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!
    BFP #1 6/22/09 EDD: 3/2/10 DS born: 3/8/10

    TTC #2 since Dec 2011
    BFP #2 7/8/12 EDD: 3/18/12 M/C @ 9w1d: 8/16/12

    Sorry about the BFN. It usually takes me 2 to 3 days after stopping prometrium for AF to start.
    Me: 33 DH: 36 Unexplained IF
    First pregnancy - DS 01-Apr-09;
    3rd cycle Clomid/IUI after 2 years TTC
    TTC #2 since ~June 2010
    IUI #1 & 2 - Clomid/IUI - BFN
    IUI #3 &4 - Gonal-F/Ovidrel and IUI -- BFN
    IUI #5 - Gonal-F/Ovidrel and IUI -- BFP!!
    EDD: March 22, 2013
    It's triplets!!

    It would be convenient for it to only be 2-3 days. That's what I'll hope for. Thanks, ladies!
