Iowa help: Fort Madison or Burlington / Des Moines Area

We are possibly relocating to the Wever, IA area with plans in a few years to move into Des Moines.  It is a long shot right now, but there is still a chance.  From what I hear, most people who work for this company live in Fort Madison or Burlington.  Any tips or advice on either one?  Anyone on this site in that area?

Just me and my husband.  First baby due May 6th.

    It depends on what you're looking for in a town. I'd recommend Burlington over Ft. Madison.

    Ft. Madison is smaller than Burlington, but Burlington has more to offer for daycare, activities, shopping, and education. I would definitely research neighborhoods before moving into a home.
