So excited!

My first maternity clothes came in the mail yesterday and I'm going to wear them today. So excited to not have to pull on my shirts, or use a rubberband on pants....I'm sure some of you have been wearing stuff for ever, but I live 2.5 hours away from the nearest mall with a maternity store, not to mention I'm 6' tall, so it's a real beotch to find stuff that fits. Sorry...this post was useless!

  • You're going to be so comfy!! From one tall girl to another, if you find any maxi dresses that are long enough for you, please share!!

Yes please this! I'm not 6'0, I'm only 5'9, but I swear all pants, dresses, and skirts are designed for people who are like 5'6.  My pants are always in danger of being floods and my skirts and dresses either make me look like skank or just plain stupid.

Im 5'9" too and that's exactly how I feel. I ordered a pair from Gap in long.. hahaha. They'll do, but even with flats they're borderline.

Even when I order longs most of the time I can't dry them. I have friends who will say, "Oh go to such and such store they have longs and they are really long." I'm like, "Yah.. you're like 5'2... everything is long to you." Lol. I have ordered my maternity pants from Old Navy, and they are in fact long. It's lovely.

  • Yay for new clothes :) Jealous over here.
  • Awesome! You're going to be much more comfortable!

  • Yeah, "longs" are just kind of a silly concept for me as well. I have a 37" inseam. My solution is leggings and tunic type tops. For now, since it is rainy, I wear them with tall boots so you cannot see the shortness of the pants. When spring hits, they are already midway up my calf, so I will wear them with cute sandals. They literally look like I meant to buy capri leggings...Sad...I know. So I'm with you other tall ladies, if you find good tall stuff, SHARE PLEASE!
  • You may wonder, once you put them on, why you waited so long. :)

  • wow I had to be in maternity for a while now, jealous you could still fit into normal clothes
