Another discharge question (TMI)

I just woke up and my panties were soaked, even to the sheets. Not just the crotch area, almost completely like I had peed. DH and I did have sex last night but that was at like 1030 and I cleaned up afterwards. I did some dr google research and it said if I were leaking fluid it would be yellow brownish. It's clear and didnt smell like urine. I know you ladies aren't doctors, but I'm wondering if I should put a call in to my OB or just monitor it for a little while.

Its definitely possible. I've always had an issue with semen leaking after sex, but usually it's all at once. I'll call just to make sure!

I've found the same thing.  Extra fun!  Or not.  But I agree with the calling your OB just to be on the safe side - that sounds like a lot of liquid!

I've realized nothing is sacred anymore in pregnancy when I'm talking about discharge issues while eating a pop tart!

Im eating pop tarts too!!

I'd definitely call just to be safe. It is probably semen but if its amniotic fluid you need to be seen ASAP.

This for moi as well. I usually wear a pantyliner to bed after sex since a lot of jizz leaks out.

The triage nurse just called back. She's talking to the dr and will call back to let me know if I should go to the office or hospital. Glad I called.

I know you're waiting to hear back fro the Dr, but amniotic fluid should smell "sweet". Also, you can clean up a bit, put on new undies and lie back down in bed for a half hour. If it's amniotic fluid, it'll continue leaking.

This is true for me as well. I am always of the opinion that if you would feel better calling, do it! No shame; that is why you have a doctor. I think you're fine but seriously you gotta do what makes you feel the most comfortable.

(((palm to face))) She made me feel very comfortable and not silly for coming in and explained that because it stayed in my body for a while that it didnt look or feel the same. She said to expect for it to keep leaking for the rest of the day. I'm glad it was nothing but I'm a little embarrassed,

Glad everything's OK!  Seems like many of us experience this?  We DTD last night, cleaned up afterwards like normal.  Sitting here at my desk this AM and I sneezed and noticed a little something came out.  AWESOME!  Might have to start with the liners like some others?
