I am around. Finally head back home after a week on the East coast. Looking forward to getting back to DH and the pup. At least I have been in sunny FL so avoided the weather up north. I have to be back here in 3 weeks too. I am stalking my airline as I can try for a first class upgrade Ina few mins.

PAIF update and work vent:


We had our NT scan yesterday and the results were as good as it could be for my old age ... Lol DH was driving me crazy because he was so nervous and had the nerve to tell me that I didn't understand WTF?!?!? Dude because I love you, I am going to let that go.
As far as work goes my boss seems to think I can get 9 audits done at once. Add to that the fact that we have to use four different audit firms that I need to coordinate with. I was at work until 9 pm yesterday and apparently that isn't enough.

You all pretty much know whats going on with me now....been all consumed with this cycle as its our last with my OE.  Will update you all this evening....Hope I'm busy at work today to help the day go by quickly!

p.s.  My hot fudge sundae was every bit as awesome as I thought it would be!  I savored every bite.....if its bad news today I may get another to drown my sorrows...and if its positive I'll get one to celebrate!

Not too much for me. You all know how my Monday went!!!  As for the rest of the week, it hasn't been so bad. I made an appointment for genetic counseling on Valentines Day, lol. I was surprised they fit me in so quick! I also made an appt to go see my regular Endocrinologist in April. Hopefully I can get some answers about IF and just my body in general!

Other than that, I'm boring. I am out of work and sit at my computer sending applications all day....Wooohooo, party at my house!!!

Not much new here, just solidly in the midst of the awful 2ww (today = 8dp3dt). Have had mild cramping/achiness since soon after ET...I know that this could just be from the crinone and prometrium since I had it with both my BFP and BFN, using PIO.

Hope all is well with everyone!

So I have a bit of an update in that we are on the calendar for our next cycle - ER will be in March.  I'm having a hysterscopy in 2 weeks to check my uterus - only because it was never done before.  This next cycle is our last with my eggs and in many ways will be all or nothing.  The plan is to freeze any good embryos on day 5/6 and do a FET later.  No fresh transfer at all.  In some ways this is good - except that I just want to know if this is going to work or not and it just means more waiting.  But my biggest fear is that we will have nothing to freeze and not even get a chance at all.

Not that much is up with me. I think I ovulated yesterday (not that it matters, except that I like to know when to expect AF and when I'll start prep for our treatment cycle.) I casually but awkwardly turned down working on a job yesterday for a baby registry logo at work. I wasn't feeling up for it, emotionally and doing research for it would be painful.

I just posted that I am cautiously optimistic as I got a positive HPT today, first one in 3.5 years. We did an IUI in January. SO my blood work will come back today. Will let you know.

I started AF today after my cancelled FET. We are supposed to be on track for a March IVF (week of March 25th), but after the last fiasco I'm afraid to even get a badge.

Did anyone else feel this way at some point in their journey?

Work is a little crazy, but I get to go to DC for a short conference at the end of the month so it is something to look forward to.

My parents have decided to come this weekend, They have become less and less supportive, so we have tried to stay clear of them. They don't know about the failed FET. Not really looking forward to that.

I don't get involved with cycling groups or cycle buddies at this point.  After having so many failures - it made me feel like even more of a failure (especially since so many people get pg on their 1st IVF).  Heck, one of my 'cycle buddies' from my first IVF is now back to the RE trying for another kid.  FML.

yeah, this would be my fourth. at first i really liked the support, but now...it is just too rah-rah for me. i feel more like, yeah, here i go again.

plus i don't really want to be a debbie downer for those who will get their take home baby from ivf number one, no need to share the misery.

i may feel differently in a week or two, but appreciate the validation from you ladies.

I'm really have a rough time right now.  I'm really second guessing my decision to go with this clinic and doctor.  I feel like he doesn't remember important things about our case from conversation to conversation.  I'm also annoyed that I'm charged every time I have a phone call with him, so I don't feel like I can get adequate reassurance.  I also feel like I know more about PGD than he does, which is not helping.   I'm just having a bad feeling, and worried that I'm going to regret this decision.

I also just found out on facebook that one of my best friends is pregnant, and I'm feeling hurt not to have been told personally. 

Gah - I try not to vent on here, but I'm feeling really overwhelmed and anxious right now.

Hope you don't mind me posting here as well. We had our most recent disappointment and I am feeling numb more than anything. My all time low was after our m/c, so I am grateful to be in a better spot than that. We are taking it a day at a time, and figuring out where we go from here. We are OOP and have one more fresh cycle that we prepaid for through Attain. Hubby says he's "done" with IVF and I want to cycle in the summer. We can't agree on adoption either. The only thing we agree on is that we love each other unconditionally and this is never going to come between us. Hugs to everyone grieving and best of luck to those cycling or recently pg!

Im so glad to see so many people having good days! Sending good thoughts for those that need them.

There really isnt anything new here. Just obsessively checking for AF so i can start getting my labs checked before ivf3. I agree w what pps said about check in groups. I often feel left behind when all the first timers get their bfps.
