If your LO is in afternoon preschoolq

What do u do all morning? We have been in am preschool for the past 2 years. My girls will miss out on kindergarten next year, but there is a really good Pre K program in our town. Unfortunately, the 4 year olds go in the pm. It will be a big adjustment for us. We're morning people. My girls are early risers. We're used to running around or going to school in the am and chilling in the pm. Any tips? Its the one thing holding me back but I think its the best program for us. Thanks.

My DS is doing PM Kindergarten this year. I do think it will help him adjust to all day next year since he is not used to being gone in the afternoon.

We do the same things we would in the afternoon and some things are easier like the library. He also does an art class that is offered in the morning. The hardest thing for me to get used to is he gets home at 3:35ish and if he wants to chill and watch a TV show when he is done I feel like it is almost dinner.

My friend's DS in in pm preschool.  She has him signed up for different classes through the park district, go to story time, run errands, etc in the mornings.  She then comes home for lunch and then takes him to school.

My middle son is in afternoon preschool not by first choice. But my oldest is in full day so we still go through the motions, get up early, eat breakfast, get ready for school and then after we drop off his older brother we find things to do... run errands, sign up for a class, go to the playground.. then come home have lunch and go to school.

He will be in morning kindergarten in the fall, and

We don't rush! That's the joy! We get up eat breakfast. Sometimes ergo to thr library, play group, gymnastics class once a week. Or we do art projects. DD likes to play on her own. 

After school, we play on the playground, then go home and start dinner.
