Pain

 I've been having this pain in my right side (where the baby has been the entire time) over the past few days, and it's getting worse, but not closer together. I've also had a contraction like pain in my back, and I think that's back labor. I'm 99% sure I lost my mucus plug about 2 weeks ago. This is the worst pain I've been in (and I would know with as many back problems I've had) I don't want to go in to L&D unless it's real this time. Advice?

I would call the doc on call and run your scenario by them. Not to scare you but right sided rib pain can be an indicator of pree, but it could very well simply be a number of other things too. Id give them a call. Keep us posted!

Another thing you could try would be on your hands and knees for a bit and see if that helps. I do this when I justt have discomfort and I read some where about  women doing this when they had back labor to relieve the pain or to see if it would shift things.
