EM in early labor?

Well EM has made it to 38 weeks. She started having contractions on mon night that were consistently 15 minutes apart. She decided the pain was too much so we were off to the hospital about 430 am tuesday morning. Hooked her up and definately the contractions were there so they asked if she wanted some pain meds to take the edge off. They gave her. A dose of demerol and she was able to go to sleep. The contractions slacked off some. So of course they sent her home. Once the demerol wore off she is steady contracting again at 1015 apart. I think this is gonna be a really really long labor. But on the upside the baby looks great. Just hope EM can handle the pain she is in. Definately on the right track tho...
