Formula questions

So, I originally signed up for Gerber stuff online, but got sent Enfamil checks. Before trying to swap them around on here I wanted to see if maybe we could try Enfamil Gentlease, since it's closest to Gerber Gentle (from what I've heard) and easier to find round these parts. Anyone try this??

Also, DS's poops are god awful on the Gerber stuff. It's like dark green/black mostly then yellow and curdled for the other half. Plus it has the worst smell that lingers everywhere. I am kind of hoping getting him on a different formula will get rid of the super nasty poop. Anyone have this problem and know what causes this? It's seriously super gross.

The poop you described sounds like he may have a dairy allergy. I'd run it by your pedi.

We use Gerber Gentle, and LO's farts and poop are both completely toxic smelling. Poop is always green, we did have one incident the other day of yellowish and seedy (which was runnier than normal). I may put him back on Similac and see if that helps, because man, he can clear out a room.

Gentlease didn't go over well with him. He was much fussier and seemed to be getting constipated. (We went from Similac Sensitive to Gentlease to Gerber)

We use the Gentlease and DD's poops are dark green and sometimes mustard and seedy. I was thinking of trying Gerber, but it sounds like it might have the same issue.

My LO is on Gentlease and he has the green poops. From what I read it's from the iron in the formula and if he seems to be ok then not to worry about it. I'm going to have to switch to Similac eventually when I get on WIC so I'm curious as to whether I should keep him on the gentle stuff or switch to regular.
