Hi ladies, I after lurking for a bit and I thought it was time to post.  My DH and I have been TTC since Jan. 2012.   We went to the RE and all tests were good except my AMH level was low.  RE prescribed a round of clomid + IUI.  I had the IUI today and they told me DH's sperm count was low.  Do you ladies have any tips on what my DH can do to up his count.

I would want to know how "low" the count was.  Did your RE give you any details?  I had my first IUI yesterday, and while DH's count was lower than we would have liked, it was still high enough not to be *too* worried.  My RE did recommend taking vitamins C & E and getting lots of fruits and vegetables in his diet.

Hi and welcome! Sorry you have to be here.  Did your DH have an SA (semen analysis) before the IUI?  If not, I would definitely have him get one done.  I would also try to get details from the RE if you can on how low it was.  But either way, you should definitely have an SA done along with all other proper testing.  IntuitiveBlue had some great recs above.  Often recommended are Fertility Blend for Men and CoQ10. GL!!

Thanks for the advice ladies.  The count was 9 million for the iui.  DH had a SA during the initial testing which was normal.  I am scheduled to talk to my RE tomorrow  so hopefully we can decide on a plan of action for DH.
