My girlfriend is a car seat certified person- anyways- I almost got the Radian- but luckily she told me how heavy it was and hard to handle- even though it is more compact in size. So not something you would be able to easily just pull in and out of the car.
The Britax looks pretty similar to the Graco MySize 70 that we ended up getting.
I wanted high RF weight limit- and I LOVE the no re-thread on the harness- Graco was just a bit cheaper so we went that route.
Hope that nugget of knowledge about the weight of the Radian helps. GL!

Well we plan on leaving it in the car we want to buy two of them for each car and I have a Toyota Rav4 and was wondering if you'd be able to sit 2 car seats in there and then also a person? Anyone??? I've been trying to do a lot of research on the britax Marathon and Dipno radian RXT and think they're both about equal In safety and I think they said that Britax was a little more balky, so less car space?
We have a RXT and its amazing! Yes, it is on the heavier side, but it's the only steel frame seat on the market and its boosters up to 120 lbs!!
If you plan on having more kids I recommend this seat! You can fit 3 straight across in the back!!
Thank you for the information we plan on having maybe one more. I just know we can have that one seat for all three stages rear facing, forward facing, and booster, which is a plus I think and its safe!!! From what I read on the reviews. Very similar to Britax
Re: What convertible car seat is recommended? I was looking at the Dino radian RXT versus the bright tex
