In your opinion, how cold is too cold for a walk outside? What do you use as your guideline?
I just purchased the plastic cover for the bassinet stroller and I'm getting sick of being in the house. DD is 5 weeks old and just over 10 pounds.
We went out already a bunch of times using blankets, etc when it was warmer - the weather here is so crazy, we've had 50+ degrees and 17 degree days in the same week.
Re: How cold is too cold?
At the last drs appt, pedi recommended going for a walk in the days following because they forecast milder weather - that was about 40 degrees. I probably wouldn't go out if it were below 40ish, but like PP said, if baby is bundled you should be good to go.
I guess I should have mentioned that's what we do too, which I think makes a difference.
I live in California, i think the lowest we've gone this year is in the 30's
But I still bundle her up pretty good
I just wouldn't go out if it was looking like you'd be uncomfortable, even bundled up, or that your body would still feel really cold underneath jackets and scarves
If you;re okay bundled, baby really should be fine
