AW: DD and talking milestone related

So I normally do not post on here about development and milestones because I know how sensitive it can be to other preemie moms because I have been there many times. But on the other end of the sword I know you moms will really get how exciting this is! So Help Me Grow comes once a month to keep an eye on dd. At yesterday's check in they were very impressed with DD's language skills and said she is actually ahead for her actual age!!! I thought she was associating a few words with the people/meaning, we know for sure mama and dada because she will point right at us and say who we are. But we also thought she was saying mymy our dogs name is maya and bear or her version kinda like beaaaa. She loves the koala bear in her exersaucer/activity table. But I thought I was reading waaaay to much into it and just being a proud mama. But she said all those things yesterday and our case leader who is a SLP confirmed that she would count those as words! This is the first time she has ever been ahead and is actually saying more than her ft cousin that is 6 weeks older! With that being said we are still working on crawling she gets about 3 movements in and then resorts to rolling and army style so she is closer to her adjusted age with this. But I am sooooo proud of her. She is pulling her self up but only on certain things and crusing a bit. So we are all over the place! But the word "ahead" has never been thrown out there and I am bursting! I am sorry if this is braggy but I am just so thrilled. Also bumping from phone so sorry for any spelling!
