Tidus or Titus?

Titus is a Biblical name.

Tidus is not a name at all.

It's NMS, but some friends of ours chose it for their third son.

I don't watch TV, but my immediate association is the Biblical reference.

See, when you explain it I can accept that it's legit, but 1. I highly doubt the long-ago OP's husband actually knew that and 2. you can forgive us for thinking it's made up or at least ludicrously pop-culture-ish when the first page of Google results for Tidus all has to do with Final Fantasy.  I usually Google names before asserting on here they're made up because I don't want to diss something that's merely from a culture I'm not familiar with, but it's really hard to find anything solid on this one.

I knew a Titus in Montana, sweet blond haired little 2nd grader with glasses. Good association here. I definitely don't hate it, but NMS personally.

Off the bat I think Titans and maybe Greek Mythology when I hear it. Has a strong feel to it, I like it.
