Anyone else have insomnia while on Estradiol?

I'm prepping for my FET on Saturday, and I'm taking 2mg Estradiol 3 times a day. This same thing happened during prep for my last FET... I wake up every single morning at 4am!  I have no idea what is going on - this isn't usually a problem for me.  Literally, every single night for the past 8 nights.  It is driving me crazy!  Some nights it takes me 2 hours to fall back asleep, and other nights I'm up forever.  Being off caffeine makes it especially difficult!

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this.  It could be stress, although I don't "feel" stressed in any other ways! 


Me: 35, DH: 34, Started TTC #1 since November '11
Several Clomid/Femara rounds, then fresh IVF September '12
Fresh IVF #1: chemical pregnancy, FET #1: ectopic, methotrexate
FET #2 resulted in our amazing baby boy Levi, born on 11/3/13 at 8 lbs, 5 oz. He is our everything!

    If you look back about 20 days ago on here I wrote word for word of what you just wrote!!  My body finally regulated at some point and I started sleeping again.  I was rough there for a couple of weeks though! Hope it gets better for you SOON!!!

    Me- 32, DH- 32- TTC for 4 Years
    IUIs 1-6 BFN
    IVF #1= BFP- M/C
    FET- Beta#1: 69, #2: 482, #3: 1088, #4: 28,318, Ultrasound- 1 beautiful heartbeat
    It's a boy!

    I get insomnia when Im on the Vivelle patches!  I thought it was just me lol

    Me:29 DH:29  TTC since 1/11 Dx: unexplained IF/early DOR/immune issues 
    Feb'12- July'12-testing(all clear minus slight arcuate ute), 3 IUI with clomid all BFN
    8/30IVF#1 Antagonist protocol- ER 9/11-8R, 7M, 5F. 
    ET 9/14 2 embies transferred. 1 10cell Grade 4, 1 8cell Grade 4. No frosties. BFN
    IVF#2 Antagonist protocol plus baby aspirin- ER 12/5-16R, 12M, 8F!
    ET 12/10 5dt! 1 fully expanded blast & 1 early blast. No frosties. BFN
    3/13 hysteroscopy & polypectomy, Consulted w Dr. Kwak-Kim.  
    DX: High NK cells, cytokines, DHEAs& PAI1;  hypothyroid, +APA, restricted bloodflow
    7/13 IVF#3 Long lupron protocol with PIO, Crinone, Prometrium, and vivelle
    (plus synthroid, metformin, baby asa, metanx, PNV, Vit E, D, calcium, fish oil, CoQ10, IVIg infusions and lovenox per Dr. Kwak-kim)
    ER 7/19 14R, 11M, 9F(4 natural fert, 5 with ICSI)
    ET 5dt 7/24 2 fully expanded blasts.  SURPRISE 3 FROSTIES!!!

    OMG... I literally have been up from 1-5 every morning.  Didn't think to correlate the two.  I've been on it since Sunday.  Wow.  So glad I checked the blog this morning.  I was coughing it up to my anxiety with my transfer coming up on Thursday. Nice to know I'm not the only one.

    ER 2/2/13 11R,9M,8F -- ET 2/7/13 2 Beautiful Perfect Blasts/5 made it Freeze! -- 2/12/12 +HPT -- 2/14/13 Beta #1 71 -- 2/18/2013 Beta #2 521 YAY! Let this be our take home baby!

    4/21/13 Massive Hemorrhage from unDX placenta previa.  Bed Rest for 7 months.

    10/17/13 Gave Birth to our 8lb 2oz baby boy! 

    8/30/15 Started Meds for FET schedule on 10/13/15

    10/13/15 TX two great blasts.  Beta scheduled for 10/22/15

    That medication was ordered for me (patches and pills) but so far I have not had to take it and I am so glad if it causes insomnia!  I have enough trouble sleeping as it is.  I have been making my own estrogen so far, but I needed extra progesterone and that makes me sleep like a baby!

     TTC since 9/10 consult 1/12 All testing came back fine Diagnosed with Unexplained infertility -3 medicated IUI's All BFN IVF - ER 11/14 24R, 15M, 13F ET 11/19, BETA 11/28 BFFN --Next step FET in Jan ET scheduled for 1/24. Beta #1 350 Beta #2 735. U/S Hell. miscarriage D&C at 9weeks. FET #2 ET 5/28 cancelled FET# 2.5 6/26 ET Beta 7/5 302 7/7 Beta #2 632 Everyone welcome

    Hmm...I don't really recall having insomnia! But I was super stressed/anxious and didn't sleep well in general while cycling
