I can't decide what to do about my BBT but AF is over I need to start charting again tomorrow morning.
So I was wondering: WWTTCALD?
The situation: A week ago, my cat knocked my BBT off the nightstand on to our hardwood floor. There was a thread on here a month or two ago about the accuracy of a BBT after impact. So I was curious enough to pick it up and take my temp. It gave me really low readings (95, 96, etc) for a few days. But now it seems to be back to normal (although I have no way to tell if it is accurate or consistent).
The quandary: The way I see it, I have a few options. I could either (A) keep using the same BBT and ignore the fact it was giving me weird readings for a few days; (B) buy another one (but I'm cheap); (C) stop temping as I mail the BBT back to the manufacturer to cash in on the warranty (but I've been really excited about starting to temp vaginally this cycle); or (D) some combination of the above (like buy a new BBT and return it once the manufacturer sends me a new one ... but I would feel bad about returning a BBT to the store that I've stuck up my hoo-haa).
I'm terrible at making decisions. Any thoughts? TIA!
Re: Thermometer Q: WWTTCALD?
I always look for the easy way out so I'd probably just swing by the drug store and buy a new one.. that's just me though..
LOL yes. This.
If you don't trust it for whatever reason, just buy a new one. I would definitely not return a used thermometer though.
