New to the area! Looking for a great OB in Pasadena/Houston

Hello Ladies!

 This is my first post on the Bump. I just moved to the Houston area and am living in Pasadena. Does anyone have any recommendations for a great OB that I can start going to? I'm willing to go a little outside of Pasadena for a Dr. but I have no idea where to start looking!

I live in Pasadena and I love my OB his name is Dr. David Cohen, he is located next to Bayshore and can deliver there and Memorial Herman Southeast. Very informative and always willing to explain things in a way that helps you understand but not feel dumb. Best of luck!!!!!!!!

Welcome to Houston!  My name is Courtney and I'm 25 weeks pregnant.  My husband and I just relocated to the Clear Lake area (military transfer) in May 2011.  I really enojoy the UTMB practice and my OB is Dr. Rizzo.  She's been great and I've only heard great things from the mom's she has helped deliver in the past.  Good luck!

I live in LaPorte, but I go to The Women's Specialist at the Women's Pavillion downtown in the medical center. I chose her about 3-4 years ago because I knew the new pavillion was going to be built. I am so excited about it!

The doctors have a floor all to themselves and l&d is on a floor below. I see Dr Carla Ortique, but I have heard great things about the other dr in the practice and I have met both midwives and they are so knowledgable and sweet!

I used Dr. Schettler in Humble. He was AMAZING!! I have type 2 diabetes and my baby was breech and the doc was there every step of the way. The office was super clean all the time and I never had to wait for an appointment and they never rescheduled me. I called a thousand times a week because I was paranoid as it was my first pregnancy. They were always so sweet to me and very patient and thorough with all my questions. I ended up needing a c section and Dr. Schettler came to see me 3 times in recovery. He went above and beyond through my whole pregnancy. I am absolutely going back to him for all future pregnancies.
