Biogaia?

So I've been hearing about this product and was wondering who uses it? If you use it, does it help LO? Is it better than gas drops or gripe water? I've placed an order at a target pharmacy and Gould be picking it up tomorrow but it's a little pricey 34. I hope it's not a waste of money.

Studies have shown that babies with colic that use the biogaia drops have a reduced crying time over the babies not using the product. I don't believe that it has been compared to gripe water clinically. The strain of probiotic used in the drops and other biogaia products has been shown to have an effect on inflammation in the gut.

I think probiotics are great for digestive health. Not sure how much I buy into it for infants on a regular basis, but I also have been blessed with three easy going babies who havent had any issues, so I might not be the person whose opinion you're looking for. Guess it's worth trying if your LO needs it, worse case you wasted 34 and don't buy it again.

DD uses it colic and general tummy issues and it's been great for her. I wouldn't compare it to gripe water or gas drops though.
