Anyone need silver nitrate on csection incision?

I feel like the biggest baby! I have been feeling great until today. Not sure if its all in my head or what. The doctor noticed my incision is still a little open on both ends, so put silver nitrate on there today. It still burns and the whole area feels sensitive now. I thought I had yeast, but apparently it's just a random rash, so I guess that's good. Anyone else feel awesome, and then not? Ugh.

  • Yes! My incision felt fine at 6 weeks and I even cancelled my post pardum appointment. More so bc my DD is overwhelming me as she is extremely fussy and I had anxiety about bringing her with me to appointment. Well now it's pretty sore. I'm going to the Dr this week almost 10 weeks later. Not sure what's going on. I hope you feel better soon. I'd gladly endure pain if j could have an unfussy baby though haha

  • I felt great yesterday and today I'm sore. I'm just taking this day by day.

I didn't have a csection but I have had to have silvery nitrate put on a surgical scar for the past 6 months since it isn't healing.nbsp; That stuff is horrible.nbsp; It burns SO much. I hate it with a passion.nbsp; It usually hurts the area for at least half a day after application.

I am hating this experience. The area the doctor put the silver nitrate looked open and had a little redness and yeasty smell, but supposedly wasn't yeast. Now that area has discharge that is starting to freak me out, and just recently a tinge of blood. I'm going to call the office in the morning to see if this is normal. I feel like this stuff hurt me more than helped!
