Has anyone use one? I'm in teething hell, so I'm wondering whether to buy one for Nora it not. I'm also unsure how she would handle it at her age.

LBB has 2.  Honestly, I don't know if they do anything, but we use them anyway.

Partially because my kid loves them and asks to wear them.

I have one and I think it works.  We didn't use nearly as much ibuprofen when she is wearing it.  I think it was $20 on Amazon.

A friend of mine swears by it for her 9 month old.  She said it helps a lot with his pain and drooling.

We have one and I think I can tell a difference.  We got ours at a local baby store but I have heard good things about the Inspired by Finn ones.

I ordered Gator's off of viavaleron.com. The lighter the color of amber, the more healing properties it is said to have. I liked the dark color, so I got her a mix of butter color and honey color. She has been wearing her necklace every day and every night since she was 9mo....unless I take it off for pictures or something.

We went from sleepless nights of her being up every 1 to 2 hours crying, and that was after giving her pain meds every night......to only needing to give her pain meds like once a week, if that, and her sleeping at night again. The drooling isn't as bad, we took it off for a little over a week to see how her drooling would change....it was far worse without it. And boy is she CRANKY when she doesn't have it on.

So it stays on 24/7.

I was hoping you'd reply.  I saw a picture of Gator with the necklace on.  Nora's not really a drooler at all, but she's awful cranky and has been gnawing on her hand a lot lately.  I mean she's super cranky.  I really think I'm going to give one a try.

I got the 12 to 12.5 inch length. I had her wear it for awhile to make sure she wasn't going to chew on it before I let her wear it 24/7. She doesn't really touch it, but I think it is because she is used to having stuff on.....she has been wearing a bracelet 24/7 since she was 6 weeks.

IMO Amber teething necklaces are BS... but they are cute. We have one, but it didn't do crap.

i think it is one of those things that works for some and doesn't work for others, just like everything else in life. When I was pregnant, I had heartburn so bad that I slept sleeping upright my whole pregnancy. I tried shots of apple cider vinegar, tums, Pepcid, prescription meds, watching my diet, etc. Nothing worked....I could eat a salad and have heartburn. It was awful. I saw the hazel wood necklaces that were for acid reflux and I figured what the heck, I tried everything else....might as well try it. Within a week, my heartburn had lessened enough that I could at least sleep flat. It didn't go away completely, but to be able to sleep flat....it was AWESOME! The other thing I noticed, was that my acne was clearing up. I went on vacation and forgot it, and the heartburn came right back. Put it back on, and within a week, I was back to sleeping flat again. My heartburn didn't officially go away completely until the night Gator was born.
