Am I going to catch up?

RE wasn't happy at this morning's u/s. She says I'm growing slowly and it's "not good". She's happy with the number of follicles but today is day 10 of stims (mdl, 450 follistim, 150 menopur) and she was hoping they'd be larger. I asked her why and she said my body probably didn't like the bcp I took for 7 days.

The follicles I have are---R: 15, 11, 11, 10, 10 and L: 13, 12, 10, 10, 10, 10. 

She did still mention the egg retrieval on Friday, but if I have to stim for two more days, wouldn't my trigger be on Thursday? So egg retrieval would be on Saturday? Do you stim on the day of the trigger? How big are they supposed to get to be triggerable?

Feeling down....I'll know my e2 and p4 later...another monitoring appt tomorrow.

If you stim 2 more days, it is tonight and tomorrow night. Trigger Wednesday for Friday ER. You trigger 36 hrs beforehand. I have stimmed the night of trigger with one RE but not others..Generally speaking "most" don't stim that night but you can. 

Was this morning actually after 9 nights of stims and tonight is the 10th? Or is tonight the 11th? Some people have to stim longer. Hang in there. I know the feeling of waiting and not knowing if it will be ok all too well!

I usually triggered around 20mm but I did have mature eggs in 13mm follies the morning of ER.

Thank you! Yes, today was after 9 nights of stims...tonight will be my 10th. Mature eggs in 13mm follicles...is that out of the ordinary? Do you have an idea of what size the follicles should typically be to contain a mature egg?

The good thing is that your biggest follies still aren't huge so there could be time for a number of other follies to catch up if they let you stim a few more days. Does your clinic do retrievals on Saturdays or does the retrieval absolutely need to be on Friday?

ETA: sorry, reread your post and it's pretty clear your clinic does do Saturday retrievals. I think you're going to be fine!

Thanks for your input brooklyn...Uhm...I'm not sure if she does retrievals on Saturday...I would hope so if I needed to do that. I'll ask at my appt tomorrow.
