Alva prepping

So my Alva diapers should be here soon and I also got bamboo inserts along with the MF ones they come with. How do I prep them and can they all be prepped together? Can I dry these in the dryer always or do I need to hang dry them? TIA!

Edit: I got the minky and PUL covers and some might be microfleece inside but most are suedocloth.

MF inserts and all pockets just need to be washed once.

Bamboo inserts should be washed once NOT WITH DIAPERS/MF/OTHER NEW POCKETS. You can do them with other household laundry, just wash hot and use your CD detergent. Then they'll improve up to ~5 washes or so. The combo inserts are ready to go sooner than that, as the interior MF will pick up the slack. 

shells last longer if you hang to dry, inserts are fine in the dryer. If you get lazy and want to dryer everything, turn the heat down to low or medium.

Great thanks. Also do I always wash everything on hot like my prefolds and covers? Usually I do a cold rinse, hot wash, then another cold rinse. Is this ok for Alva's?

Yes, that's how I wash everything, Alvas included. Cold rinse, hot wash, cold rinse (double cold rinse if I'm using Tide).
