Dear SIL;

Please stop trying to call me to try to better explain your nonsensical marital issues with my brother. Yes we are "friends" but I only know you because of him. You are the one who waited until the DAY after your anniversary vacation to Mexico to bring up the fact that you are thinking of filing for divorce. This was completely out of the blue to him and us, so maybe you can understand why this looks so shady?

He is my brother, I love him and my niece to death, so you trying to talk this out with me and his mother only makes things more awkward. I'm sure you have other friends who you can talk to or better yet talk to HIM since he is still confused as to what is going through your head. I have known you for 13 years so as much as I want to like you, it's a little hard to not pick a side in this situation. Just to clarify, I'm not on yours.

I realize that you have done me a great service by allowing me to feed my sweet little girl BM all these months. I know I owe you, but I'm tired of you and want my boobs back for a little while. I guess I'll try and keep going a few more months. Blah.

Dear Helpful Neighbor,

Thank you so much for coming to the rescue when DS (14 yo) accidently caught the oven on fire this weekend. I was obviously busy getting DD out of the house and we were all freaking out. Thank you for running over and using the fire extinguisher, airing out the house, and letting us borrow your heavy duty fans to get all the smoke out. Thank you for stepping in since DH was at work.

Dear Body,

Please make more milk for lo and less unnecessary nasal mucus.  I realize that I'm dehydrated; I'm drinking as much fluid as I possibly can.  Therefor, please use that fluid for milk; not for aggravating me and making me feel worse.  Lo still needs to eat despite that fact that you went and picked up a virus.  I really dislike having to supplement with formula but I'm not going to leave the growing girl hungry.  She really needs the extra antibodies so that she hopefully doesn't catch whatever virus this is.  However, I'm not sure that she's going to be able to stay healthy since she keeps managing to find the one dirty tissue I've dropped and then trying to eat it.  Which is not only beyond disgusting it then means I have to stick my dirty fingers in her mouth and remove it before she chokes.
