We just got done with IUI#5 this past Friday, today is CD24. This morning I woke up and went to the bathroom around 6am and everything was normal, no signs of cramping, etc. Just a few hours later around 10am I had what I can only describe as a super heavy period. Standing next to my desk at work I just had the sense that I needed to go to the bathroom. No pain or cramping just a sensation. Sure enough I'm bleeding...big time. The only time I have experienced bleeding this much was AF after my first round of Clomid and even then it was bearable.
It's way too early for AF though, seeing as Friday morning before my IUI the ultrasound showed that I hadn't ovulated yet (I triggered Wednesday night). I'm super confused as to what it could be or if it's a side effect from the injectables I did this cycle. I'm not assuming it's implantation bleeding because I know how rare it occurs and I've always heard it was more like spotting and it's way too early for that too! This is full on, first day of worst ever AF bleeding. I guess I will see if it continues throughout the day. Thankfully, I already had an appointment after work today to go back and follow up, like my RE has me do after every IUI and he prescribes me progesterone for the next 10 days.
