Does anyone give their LO Similac Alimentum?  My LO was just diagnosed with a milk protein allergy and we were told to use the Alimentum to fortify BM and I have to cut out all dairy.  But when we gave DD the Alimentum, she HATED it.  She almost refuses to eat it.  I worried that she's refusing to eat it and will get dehydrated or lose weight.  How did you get your LO to accept it?

    I've heard to add some juice since the taste is bad..no experience though. Did ped suggest this instead of soy? How was your LO diagnosed? We are bringing on diapers today to test for milk and soy allergy.

    My dd is on it but we never had a problem with her not eating it. Only suggestion would be to maybe try changing the temperature of the formula. Maybe it tastes better colder, that's how we give it to her. Good luck. Ps: I would not add anything to formula unless pediatrician suggests something.
