So I am 29 weeks pregnant with twins. With my daughter we had a Snugride 35 (traditional) and we bought two extra bases. So essentially we would only need to buy another car seat and we would be set. However now that they have this "new" and "improved" click connect model I kinda want to get that one (especially because of the lighter weight). Does anyone know if it can fit in the old 35 bases? I really don't want to buy another base as well. TIA.
Re: Graco Click connect base question?
Nope, it only fits it's specific base.
I have the CC40, and just so you know, it is HUGE. I have a crossover, and I don't think it is going to work for us.
ETA: The 35 isn't going to be as bad, because it doesn't have the adjustable base like the CC40.
Thanks for the tip on the size. It is always going to be tight since we are going to have two of the carriers at any given time.
I haven't tried the 35, but with the 40, its impossible to have my seat in a comfortable position. Especially, when the base is in the 8th position. I have to push my seat way up. I am bummed, because I really wanted it to work. I just don't think the 40 is worth the price difference if I can't use the adjustable feature.
