I am doing my research on CD and have decided that AIO's would be the best for our family. Based on reviews I'm reading that Kissaluvs and BumGenius AIO's are the best for newborns. I plan to breastfeed if that makes a difference.
Has anyone tried both? Which one do you prefer? What about older babies, which one is best? TIA!!

Re: Best AIO for newborns?
Hands down, Swaddlebees Simplex! They dry so much faster and my 2 week old still has plenty of room to grow where she's getting snug in others. We have Grovia AIOs, Blueberry pockets, Lil' Joeys, and an assortment of fitteds and covers, but Swaddlebees are our favorite.
ETA: I just realized I don't have the two brands you asked about. Like the others, I have heard babies outgrow absorbency on the BG, that's why I didn't buy any of those.
I really love my Size Large Swaddlebees Simplex for my DS and plan on getting a couple Size NB for DD before she arrives!
AIOs are rather pricey, so I don't know how prepared you are for that expense. A newborn needs at least 30 diapers if you plan on washing every other day. I can't fathom having to get that many AIOs! Another option you may want to check on that is just as easy to use, but a lot cheaper are Clotheez Workhorse fitteds from Green Mtn. Diapers. The NB size is $5.50/each, plus the cost of a few covers. The fitteds really hold in breastfed baby poop!
Overall, I recommend using the NB stage as a time to try a variety of styles to see which ones you like best - you never know when you may turn out to be a prefolds and covers kind of person! And you may find you have hard water in your area, which can make keeping synthetic fabrics stink free rather difficult.
As for older babies, I find that the BG Elemental works decently. Although I really prefer the Simplex as you can add doublers and increase the absorbancy. I would not recommend using AIOs as night time diapers, though. I just don't feel like they have enough absorbancy for older babies. I really like the Babee Greens fitted with a couple extra doublers from GMD for night use, topped off with a wool cover
