So as you know we have had the flu, norovirus, and now ear infections in the house. DD slept with me last night in the boys room ( her room is colder for some reason) and DH took the boys and put them in our bedroom for the night. I have been having some insomniac and this was suppose to help me get some sleep. Well as you know sleeping with a sick toddler ( especially my little river dancer) can be rough since they kick in their sleep. I woke up feeling pretty tired and worn out and not feeling 100% myself health wise its been rough. I went downstairs and made myself breakfast. Instead of eating upstairs I ate downstairs in the peace and quiet and watched the snow fall from the window. Although it was only an hour it was the best hour I have had in probably a year. DD had her tablet and was occupied under the covers, DH was asleep and so were the boys. Felt so good after that I totally didn't care when DS1 threw up on me lol.
So if you moms ever think that its only an hour.. that hour can be a mind saver!
