Just when I thought we had it down to our top 2 for our little girl the name Kendall came up. This is actually an old favorite of mine and DH really likes it. I'm really starting to like it more again especially because it has a similar meaning as my dad's name (Dale) and I think it would be a great way to honor him as he passed 2 years ago. My only concern is it being to common. I feel it's getting more popular as in the school I work at I know of at least 1 Kendall and a Kenley. What are your feelings on it's popularity? and is this the best spelling?
Re: Kendall
I really liked this name about 10 years ago (and still think it's pretty) but we were going to name a daughter Kennedy and if we'd had two girls, I never would've done that to them lol! Plus I'm a Sarah Michelle Gellar fan and one of her more famous roles was Kendall .
I still think it's a good name and not too trendy. It's a legitimate K name, so it has that going for it, and as far as the popular names in the same vein, I think Kennedy and Kinley are much more trendy, so you're probably not going to run across a lot of Kendall's in the same grade in school.
