Time for the weekly update on those babies!

DD FINALLY started crawling forward last night. She's still slow and can't go far before she has to sit herself back down, but she's no longer only moving in reverse! Also this week she started taking baths by herself. Since she was born she's HATED the bath so I always had to bring her in the shower or bath with me for her to not scream bloody murder. We loaded up the bath with toys and slowly filled the bath as she was sitting in it and she didn't seem to notice. Then last night she let me put her right in the pre-filled bath and was fine. Success!

On a seperate update note, DDs part days at daycare have come to an end and starting Monday she'll be going full time! It was so hard to leave her there at first but she's doing great and the teachers love her. It is fun to pick her up and see her get all excited to see me.

DD still isn't crawling forward but she is walking along the couch. She hates lying on her tummy and would much rather sit or stand. We think she might just skip crawling and go straight to walking.

She is using the potty like a champ. She goes almost every time I put her on it and we've only had a few poopy diapers since we started EC on jan 15th. We switched to cloth diapers at the same time and its nice not spending $40 a month on diapers.

She has always tolerated baths well but now that she's in the big tub she loves them. She lies down in the tub and kicks her feet, squealing the whole time.

I can't believe how big she is getting! It feels like just a few weeks ago I brought her home...

DS has starting to climb things.  He has been crawling since right before Christmas, and pulling up on thing shortly after that.  Now he will push a toy in front of the couch and try to put a knee up on it to get on the couch.  He hasn't been successful yet, but it is crazy that his little mind has created a plan like that already!

He is just getting so big so fast! I can't believe he will be 9 months here soon.  Only three more months of "baby hood."

Today  Reddy is 9  months old!  i swear he just grew  overnight!    he is  not crawling yet but has two teeth and  loves to stand up by the couch and play on the keyboard We put out for him.    he it's also ec,  We started around 8  weeks and he got the idea of pooping  in the potty  by  9 weeks.    We took a month off due to going on vacation,  and he resumed just fine. i  can only count about 3 accidents in 4  months... my dh  laughs at me because he says no one else would say a baby pooping in a diaper is an accident!  he also  says mum instead of mama,  and last night said buh buh asking for baba (father  in Mandarin)

 he is 26 lbs  and i want him to crawl so he can slim down,  as carrying 26 lbs  is hard,  but maybe chasing a toddler is harder!

My LO is starting to pull his legs up underneath him when laying on his tummy like he wants to start crawling but he won't get all the way up.  I have been helping him stand with support and he seems to enjoy it.  My DH and I swear he has started saying "up!" when he wants to be held but it could be in our heads!

Still not crawling, although she can push herself backwards all over the house. She's also started making more attempts to stand/pull herself up.  On the down-side, she's cutting both of her top teeth right now and it is SO much worse than when the bottom ones came in.  She's sleeping for crap, doesn't want to eat, and we're all pretty miserable around here.  Ugh.  I hope we get a break before the next round of teething.

DS is pulling up on everything and love walking behind his standing walker.  A few times we though he was teething but we haven't felt/seen any come in yet. the drooling just starts and stops. He recently decided he likes splashing and it's time to move him to a bigger tub. We're still using the infant to toddler one that can be used at the sink.  We're slowly giving him more solids and snacks. This week he's going to try avocado (again) and blueberries.  

I know what you mean it's awesome to see how excited they get when it's time to pick them up.

My little man is a few days shy of 9 months. He just started crawling, and is getting better at it everyday. He is pulling up to his knees, but not quite to his feet yet. I'm expecting this any day now...

He has 8 teeth, and loves to eat. He gets a little bit of whatever we are eating. He does great with everything, and we haven't found too many foods that he doesn't like. His newest favs are little bits of mango and chicken.

He's been saying bababa, yayaya, and wawawa for a few weeks now, but just started saying mama and dada in the last week. He is also giving kisses every once in a while, they are open mouthed and very wet!
