    LOVE it!  It is one of my favorite girl names.  I think it is classic, feminine, and has a nice nickname.

    I love it! It's on my short list of girl names. Classic and pretty and not too popular for my taste. I think I like it spelled Allison better, but I'm not opposed to Alison.

    I love the name Alison! It's one we're tossing around if our LO is a girl, but we like it with two L's. It's beautiful either way.

    Love it!!! I have a 2yr old Allison, pretty and feminine without being too frilly!

    I don't think it's dated at all, it's a new classic.

    Love Alison, spelled this way. This is my sisters name and she goes by Ali sometimes. I think it is a pretty name that is not over used. Great choice!

    It's my middle name and I adore it. My dad named me after the Elvis Costello song, which is also really pretty.

     U/S #1, 12/23: gestational sac, possible heartbeat
    U/S #2, 12/30: HEARTBEAT! 128bpm, measuring right on at 7w EDD: 8/19/2015

    I love Alison, and greatly prefer it to Allison. I don't particularly like the NN Ali/Allie, but I'm in the minority here.

    I am Allison and I have always liked the name! I prefer 2 ls but that's probably because I have 2. If she ever goes by Allie I think that spelling looks much better than the one L Ali.
