I've been on the TTGP board since Feb 2012 (took a bump break this fall) and am backing bumping it up over there. I never realized there was a secondary IF board (or maybe it's just new), and after some lurking I figured I'd officially introduce myself.

I got pregnant with my son in October 2010 my first month off BCP (and only married 6 months... big surprise to us!). I gave birth to my beautiful son in July 2011 and we unofficially started ttc#2 in Feb 2012. I was still BFing and hadn't gotten my PPAF back so I wasn't expecting much, but in May we started weaning and hoped something would happen.

I never got PPAF back even after completely weaning so my midwife prescribed a month of BCP. That did induce my period, but when the next one was due it never showed. That day I had terrible cramps and pain, and a BFN hpt so I saw a doctor and eventually was diagnosed with a 5 cm ovarian cyst. AF finally showed on day 47 of that cycle and my next cycle was 55 days long (never with any signs of O). In December an US showed the cyst was gone and a follicle growing but I took days of OPKs and temped but never saw O... had to induce that period with provera. So now we're on our 12th month of TTC (although I suppose really only 7 or so count since I was BFing earlier) and hoping my body will get back on track!!

I've been doing acupuncture for 4 weeks, hoping that will get my body back on track before we think about other options. I had 2 very positive OPKs on day 19 and 20 of this cycle as well as plenty of EWCM and some O pains (I believe) but my thermometer died so I couldn't confirm O (convenient right?!). So I'm now 8 days past my O based on OPK and hoping to AT LEAST get AF on time based on that O date this cycle... it'd be nice to know my body is working!
