Yes, I'm being a PW today.
Pros:
- I'm totally used to having a belly, so no real surprises there.
- I'm used to clothes not fitting and loving elastic waists.
- Aches and pains just because I'm heavy? Meh, routine.
Cons:
- Not having that cute little "bump".
- Getting even heavier when you were already heavy and uncomfortable.
- Feeling like a whale.

Re: Plus sized and pregnant - pros and cons
Definitely!
We lost our first (EDD 07/23/12) after finding out at 12 weeks there was no longer a heartbeat. Our rainbow was born 05/22/13 and was worth all we went through.
“So can you understand? Why I want a daughter while I’m still young? I wanna hold her hand and show her some beauty before all this damage is done. But if it’s too much to ask, it’s too much to ask … Then send me a son.” – Arcade Fire
I'm way overweight however, I lost 25 lbs in the beginning and only gained five back so far... Not my question just a side note lol
Question is have any of your DH been able to feel LO? I feel him all the time, but was wondering if itd take longer than normal to feel him on the outside?
TIA
I have an anterior placenta, and I still haven't felt the baby. I'm thinking a few extra inches of belly fat aren't helping.
Oh, and I agree about showing off the belly. I don't care if my shirts are snug now! Freedom!!!
It has been weird to try to train my brain that gaining weight is okay. For now, I'm still under my starting weight, but I know the gain will happen eventually. It's still hard to wrap my head around.
Oh, and being a 3x I can really only shop at MM, and their quality is terrible. So that sucks.
Being able to show off my belly with pride? Oh hellz yes.
Mine can't yet- it's getting frustrating
I am in the 3X for pants there too- it really sucks they have such limited options
mine could at 21/22 weeks
